21 Day Revolution

New Year’s is a time of resolutions.  For many what takes place over the next two months is the frustration of not living up to your own expectations of what you want to implement into your life.  Unfortunately our resolutions end in failure, another bad ending to the changes we want to implement in our lives. Here is a thought, instead of setting resolutions why not participate in a revoltion.

For the next 21 days The Plant, is going on a 21 day Revolution to seek God together.  During this time we are inviting the people of the church to give up something with the purpose of focusing on our relationship with God.  This could be any thing from daily meals, taking out certain foods from your diet, to TV, Facebook, whatever you feel you need to set aside.

Today, the revolution starts.  As you begin to set out on this journey of fasting, which may be the first for many people, plan on 3o minutes daily to pray and read God’s word.  Begin today by reading John 1.  The book of John begins with, “In the beginning..”  Today is the beginning of a new day, allow God to speak into your life in new ways.
