Who’s Rob?
Over the past 12 years I have been in full-time ministry. This has varied from being a youth pastor, Property Staff at Lake Champion (GO YOUNGLIFE!), an Associate Pastor and now part of the breed of people known as a Church Planter. In the words of Jerry Garcia, “What a long strange trip its been.”
What I have enjoyed most on this journey is the the one thing that has been most furstrating, learning to hear God’s leading in my life. Each new position and every decsion that has been made are opportunities to listen and see where God is leading in my journey of life.
What has made this journey exciting and filled with great passion has been my amazing wife Sue. She is beautiful, funny and even more intense then I. We together have been raising our four children. Each one of our kids brings a sprecial piece to our family. It is amazing how these same kids inspire me to live the dreams God has for me, make me laugh at the simplest things in life and then drive me crazy. Funny, the same thing I did to my parents.
Some of my most exhilerating moments in life have been the firsts of my life: the birth of my first child, the first kiss with my wife, writing my first book and completing my first triathlon.
As I look to the future what I can only state as a fact is whatever happens in my life, Christ is at the center. I say this humbly because life will always throw us curveballs and the only constant I have found strength in is my Lord!
