I agree Rob! Many christians do not realize the full magnitude of the cross. Even knowing it is the key to eternal life, they still diminish it. You are right, that there is NOTHING we can do to change what the cross did. Further, I think that those regulations to prove your faith, are in part a recreation of the law, that we are free of. Galations 5:4 “You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ”. Praise GOD for the cross, and for the blood of Christ!

Rob,
How refreshing to know that no matter where we come from, no matter what our background there are no limitations to what God can do through us. Daniel and Joseph both went from slavery to second in command of the largest world power of their time. Wow, that blows my mind! How much more opportunities do we have to really impact this world through the gifts our Lord has given us? We limit ourselves in playing it small!

Powerful reminder. Yes we do struggle to be in control, the world teaches us to puff yourself up and Christ taught us to relinquish to Him so that the real power we experience is the power of God in our weakness. Thanks for reminding us of this fact.
